Prescott High School Air Force JROTC Cadets Rebecca Hughes and Josh Olsen were given recognition for their assistance in our Veterans Day parade. They carried our banner and when finished jumped right back into their unit which was just beginning the parade.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Army ROTC Cadet Shawn Adelgren receives the Silver Medal, SAR certificate, and a $100.00 check from Steve Monez, Wayne Hood and Edward Steinback.
Pinion High School Army JROTC Cadet Clayton Yazzi received the Bronze Medal, SAR certificate, and a $50.00 check. We did not make the trip to Pinion High as it is an all day trip Pinion near Chenle on the reservation.

Northern Arizona University Army ROTC Cadet Aaron Houston was awarded the Silver Medal, SAR certificate, and a $100.00 check by President Steve Monez and Registrar Ed Steinback III. Aaron has served his country, is now completing his ROTC education and will return to active duty as an officer.

On May 1st 2014, NAU Air Force ROTC Cadet Kyle Olsen was awarded the Silver Medal with his name and date of award engraved on the back, SAR certificate, and a $100.00 check by Steve Monez, President, and Ed Steinback III, Registrar.

Prescott High School Air Force JROTC Cadet Sophia Voelkel entered The State SAR enhanced Program. She had to write an essay to show how the JROTC helped her become a better citizen and had to be involved in extra curricular activities in the school. She had to be a leader in her detachment and be nominated by both the commanding officer of her detachment and her principal. She won the Prescott Chapter award and placed second at the State Society level. She was awarded the Enhanced Medal, certificate, and a $50.00 Check from the Prescott Chapter and a $100.00 check from our State Society.
